Who am I?
A bit more about me.
Here’s the thing. I’ve always paid attention to how people feel in the middle of things.
I’m an educator by profession, but curiosity has always been the through-line. I notice patterns. I sit with questions longer than most people. I care about why something works, why it misses, and what people carry with them after the moment passes. Teaching gave me language for that instinct, especially through social and emotional learning, but it was there long before the classroom.
I work with kids, stories, and systems built by adults who sometimes forget what it feels like to be human. My approach stays simple. Lead with empathy. Choose clarity over polish. Say things in a way people recognize themselves in. Learning sticks when it feels personal, and growth happens when reflection feels safe.
I’m also a creator. Writing helps me slow down my thinking. Media analysis lets me explore identity, emotion, and values through stories people already love. Photography reminds me to look instead of rush. Different formats, same intention. Pay attention. Name what matters. Leave room for honesty.
I don’t pretend to have everything figured out. I’m interested in momentum, not perfection. Main quests over side quests, but without forgetting the side quests shape us too. I’m proud of the work I do when it helps someone feel understood or a little less alone in their thinking.
This site reflects how I move through the world. Thoughtful, reflective, grounded. Teaching, creating, and learning out loud, a little bit at a time.
